Competitive pricing.  Being green should not mean being more expensive than our less green brethren.  We’d say something cheesy like “We won’t be undersold,” but we aren’t moving mattresses (yet).

Quality papers.  Like real Corinthian leather, you can see and feel the difference when you touch our products.  It’ll make you want to hug a tree.   Seriously, though, we use only papers that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Our people.   Each member of the Green Dog team has a pedigree that includes work for environmental causes of one kind or another.  We’ll be sharing more about that in our weblog in the coming months at www.greendogprinting.blogspot.com.

1% for Trees.  We are currently researching  how best to spend 1% of our gross revenues on organizations whose mission it is to grow more trees in areas that have been degraded due to clear-cutting and the like.  If you know a worthy cause that fits that description, please let us know at info@greendogprinting.net.

Our History
The owners of Green Dog were sitting around one day in early 2006 thinking about how to stop wasting so much paper.
One was a marketer for environmentally-conscious companies whose company was going through paper like puppy chow through a golden retriever.
One was a lawyer and a co-founder of the first road side assistance club for bicyclists and hybrid car owners (note: he’s not much of a bike rider, though).
And, one was a CFO for a big catalog clothing company that used a lot of paper.
All were in Portland, Oregon – the funky, green and misty capital of new environmentalism (no, we are not sure what that is either, but we know it means something good).

That was almost two years ago and here we are today having spent the last two years getting off our collective butts and actually selling paper (while running our own companies, raising children, dealing with aging parents… ok.  We’ll stop whining) and printing solutions to our friends and clients who are, thankfully, still our friends and clients.  Boy have we learned a lot!  We’ve also had a helluvalot of fun growing this puppy on a short leash.  We’ve moved on from our early paper training and are now up, running and slobbering away to victory.  Come join us!
